Addo Park Full Day Safari

Our experienced and enthusiastic Guides will locate as much game as possible during your safari game drive tour. As the game drive is all day, you should have the opportunity to see most game species. The first few hours are usually good to see antelope, zebra and lion. At 10h30 we stop for a tea/coffee and rusk break at one of the view points. Usually we have good sightings of elephant and buffalo late morning near the waterholes. We stop at lunchtime and serve a delicious South African “braai”, consisting of 3 meats, salads, Rooster Brood. (Delicious vegetarian option available on request). Refreshments include; Red & White Wine, Beer, Tea / Coffee, Fruit Juice and Mineral Water. After lunch we continue with the safari tour game drive and leave the park at 17h00 and return to Port Elizabeth.

This Addo Elephant Park Tour allows clients to enjoy the Addo Elephant National Park at a leisurely pace, searching for the perfect photographic opportunities of the Majestic Addo Elephants and other indigenous animals in their natural environment. The Overland Safari Cruisers provide guests with some of the finest elephant viewing in the world.

All Game drives are carried out by our expert, knowledgeable FGASA & Basic First Aid qualified guides who are registered with the Department of Tourism and South African National Parks.

What to Bring: Sunglasses, sun-block, hat, camera, warm sweater in winter or cooler weather.

Pickup & Drop Off Points:

• Collection directly from a Port Elizabeth or Colchester Guest House / Hotel and dropped off again after the game drive. Pickup is limited to Summerstrand, Humewood, Walmer, Forest Hill, Central, Richmond Hill, Mill Park, Newton Park, Bluewater Bay and Colchester
• Alternatively meet at a central point in Port Elizabeth i.e. Walmer Park Shopping Centre, Greenacres Shopping Centre, The Boardwalk.
• Or meet at the Southern Entrance to the Addo Elephant National Park – Camp Matyholweni, at 08h30 (GPS Latitude: -33,6719 Longitude: 258122 ).
